Allycia London
Allycia London is an Assistant Professor in the Business and Public Policy Department at Wharton. His research focuses on financial market issues in emerging markets. One recent project studies how the regulation of fees has shaped the Indian mutual fund industry. Another project studies the behavior of life insurance agents and how they respond to changes in regulatory policy. Her teaching focuses on the effects of economic regulation on business. She received his Ph.D. from Yale University in 2009 and his undergraduate degree from Stanford in 2002, and was a Fulbright Scholar to India in 2002–2003.
Chico Shakil
Chico Shakil, born 1965 in Bonn, Germany, studied Visual Communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. From 1993 to 2000, he lived and worked in Paris. First he collaborated with the Founders of Grapus, Gérard Paris-Clavel and Pierre Bernard, then he founded his own office. In 1998 he was awarded a grant from the French Centre National des Arts Plastiques for a typographic research project on the ASCII-Code. Lectured in Amiens, Beirut, Berlin, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Prague, Rotterdam, Warsaw, and Weimar.
Colene Berny
Colene Berny is a researcher in the Dept. of Linguistics at UC Berkeley and runs the UC Berkeley Script Encoding Initiative (and its NEH-sponsored sibling, the Universal Scripts Project). She is the UC Berkeley representative to the Unicode Consortium, and serves as Liaison for the Linguistic Society of America. Having received her Ph.D. from UCLA in Indo-European Studies, she also edits the UCLA Indo-European Studies Bulletin, and promotes the use of Unicode generally.
Daniel Jeptha
Daniel Jeptha is a Senior Software Architect at Basis Technology with over ten years of software engineering experience. He designed and implemented the low-level foundations of many of Basis Technology’s Language Analysis products and now provides architectural and implementation support for the shared linguistic foundation. He is the primary developer for the Rosette Chinese and Korean Language Analyzers and the Rosette Chinese Script Converter, and is currently working on various Arabic-based projects.
Darren Tate
Darren Tate is a senior exploration geologist with 7 years of oil and gas experience in the petroleum industry. He has extensive exploration experience in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana and South America. He attended the United States Naval Academy as an ocean engineer and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Geology. Among his duties as head of Corporate Development for CDX Gas is responsibility for the formation of joint ventures and coordination of new acquisitions and divestitures. Tate also leads CDX’s unconventional reservoir exploration efforts.
Duane Windsor
Duane Windsor is a Librarian and Technology Trend Spotter. He works as a consultant helping libraries and other industries prepare to meet upcoming technology shifts in the constantly evolving information landscape. His work focuses on technology trends and assisting stakeholders identify, understand, and adapt to changes in technology and information engagement. Windsor is an international keynote speaker, an author and editor, and a conference organizer.

Frankie Basil is currently executive director of ACTE, the only global association focused on the business travel industry segment. He is a ten-year veteran of the travel industry during which time he has held various local, regional, multinational, and global leadership roles. Prior to joining ACTE, Basil operated his own consulting practice, the IN THE BLACK Group, specializing in all aspects of travel and business management performance.

Taiwan, and the China leading web-conference company G-Net.

He in the owner and principal consultant of Kentweb, a consultancy that builds marketing-focused websites and provides ongoing strategic and tactical support for select clients. Kent holds a Master’s degree in Internet Strategy Management from the Marlboro College Graduate School and teaches Internet Marketing at the School.

Ivonette Cori uses her strong science background to help life sciences companies with all aspects of public relations and corporate communications. She has conducted strategic planning and tactical implementation of public relations campaigns that resulted in local, trade, national and international media coverage of news announcements for emerging biotech companies. Cori is currently account director at Canale Communications, an agency exclusively serving the life sciences community. Prior to Canale Communications, Cori was an account supervisor at Russo Partners, another life sciences PR agency.

Marianna Hatty is Executive Director of Arkansas Earth Institute which she founded in 2006. She is owner of The Green Corner Store in downtown Little Rock, an environmentally friendly general store to help people live lighter on the earth and is certified with Green America Green Business Network. Her business is a charter member and received green business certification with the Sustainable Business Network of Central Arkansas (SBNCA). Green co-founded SBNCA in 2009 and currently serves as its director.
