A booklet designed to show the hidden meaning of Beatrice Ward’s Crystal Goblet essay on typography.
Challenge
The goal was to create a booklet designed to show the hidden meaning of Beatrice Ward’s Crystal Goblet essay on typography.
Solution
The final solution was based on the idea that type should act more like a window than a precious object. It should be used to convey content while staying transparent at the same time, rather than drawing attention to itself. A similar analogy is how a wine glass should feature the wine more than the glass itself.
